How to join us
By Plane: Sant'Egidio Airport is distant only fifteen minutes (12km) from Casa Rosa. It is easily reached by Taxi service (tel:075.500.48.88) or you can use our shuttle service from Rome-Fiumicino.
By Bus: There are various bus terminals in the area. The principle areas of reference are Viale Giovanni Perari (PG) (Flixbus) and Piazza Partigiani (PG).
By Train: Coming from the North, the main line is Florence-Rome (Firenze-Roma); Stop at Terontola, at the station of Terontola take one of the trains that are connected to Assisi/S. Maria degli Angeli; it takes about(45 to 60 minutes).
Coming from the South, the main line is Roma-Ancona with a stop at the station of Foligno. Take the train of the secondary line Foligno-Terentola and get off at the station of Assisi/Santa Maria degli Angeli; it takes about (10 to 15 minutes).
The station of Assisi is on a plain near Santa Maria degli Angeli (known for the beautiful Basilica). It is connected to the historical center of the town (about 3 kilometers) by bus, that runs every 30 minutes ( C line). The bus leaves from the square in front of the station and stops at Piazza Matteotti.
